The mission of Campbell Ridge Elementary School (CRES) is to provide a safe, caring environment where all students are engaged in successful learning. We accomplish this by practicing the following values: Respect, Shared Responsibility, Optimism, Open Communication, and Perseverance. We focus on individual strengths, learning styles, and developmental needs to ensure that every student develops into responsible community members. CRES is proud of our ability to create an environment for students that is reflective of the traditional school while incorporating new technologies, proven instructional programs, and innovative instructional strategies.
Campbell Ridge provides an overall elementary school experience for all students. In addition to our academic program, CRES provides a variety of after school clubs and activities including Club21, sports, arts, and academics. Campbell Ridge has made steady progress and improvement in the state accountability system each year. Campbell Ridge has closed the achievement gap for students from poverty and remains committed to closing the gap for students with disabilities.
Campbell Ridge incorporates specific and detailed character education programs throughout the school day. All students take part in the Second Step program to teach and promote healthy mental and emotional growth. We value the whole child and strive to make our school a loving and caring community of learners, teachers, and parents. Campbell Ridge invites school families and communities to take an active role in their child's elementary school years. Our Volunteer Program brings parents and community into the school to work with students and teachers. Our All-Pro Dads meet each month to have breakfast with their children and to share discussion about themes. Our PTO is very active and involved in our school every day.
